Doing business on ead

Can i own a franchise on ead card in additon to my normal job

Yes, ownership of a business is not necessarily the same as working. You can own a business including a franchise so long as you don't work in it. You would have to hire citizens or green card holders to be the employees. This may not be acceptable to the franchisor.
