Legal Question in Business Law in California
Business License
Do I need a business license to set up some candy machines (insert-a-quarter-and-get-a-handful-of-Skittles type machines or gumball machines) outside or inside of convenience stores and laundromats and the like (with the owner's consent, of course)? What if I give a portion of profits to charity? Thank you.

Re: Business License
I'm sure some public employee will come along with his or her hand out demanding that you purchase a city gumball license. Let them find you. It's certainly laudable if you give money to charity, but it shouldn't affect any business license requirement.
