Legal Question in Business Law in California

Buyer/Co-Buyer...who really owns the car?

I purchased a vehicle and listed my domestic partner as the "co-buyer" at the time of purchase. We have since gone separate ways. I have been paying for the car myself the entire time and am continuing to do so....how do I get her name off the title/paperwork?

Removing a Co-Owner from Vehicle.

There are really only one method to remove a co-ownerfrom the title of a vehicle. If you are holding the"pink" slipyou need the co-owner to "sign off" on it and youneed to re-register the "pink" with only your name on it.This costs around $14 and can be done at the DMV or AAA (if you are a memeber).

If the co-owner refuses, then you will have no alternative but to sue her.============================================================If applicable to this message: "This transmission does not create an attorney-client relationship.
