Legal Question in Business Law in California
California LLC with 2 members.
I'm buying the other partner out.
What documents do I need to file with the State to let them know that the member is no longer a part of the LLC? (Statement of information?)
Thanks in advance,

It depends on whether the company is a member-managed LLC or a manager-managed LLC, what position the other member held with the company (if any), and whether the member was the agent for service of process for the company.
