car loan

is it legal for the company i am getting a car loan from to ask me for a print out of all the calls ive made on my cell phone in order to get a loan?

I do not know of any provision of law making it illegal to ask for such information. Penal Code section 638 makes it illegal to obtain such information without the subscriber's consent, but says nothing about asking for it to be given consensually.

Of course, you have the right to refuse to give the information to the lender, in which case it may or may not decline your loan. The lender has no duty to lend to you, whether or not you comply with this odd request.

The request is obviously for the purpose of having a list of numbers to try (or get addresses for) if you disappear or don't perform your obligations on the loan, probably an indication that your credit score is pretty weak.
