Legal Question in Business Law in California
used car purchase
My husband & I bought a used car on sept 21. We put $ 1300 down and wanted to finance the rest. The car lot says that they are having trouble financing us & we need a co-signer. We have no co-signer. They cashed our $1300. check. There is a clause in the contract that the dealer can recend the contract within 10 days of singing (10 days is past). They want to take our first payment & add it to our down payment and extend for 45 days. should we do this? can they recend the contract?

Re: used car purchase
I would tell them (if you want the car) that the 10 days are up and they are stuck with the conntract.
