I sold a car to a private party on payment and now she will not pay

Unless you and the buyer have a contract that gives you a security interest in the car so that you can reposess it if she doesn't pay, your only remedy is to sue her for the unpaid balance. The fact that you've turned to this site for guidance suggests you don't have the right kind of contract.
