Legal Question in Business Law in California

Car Repossesion

My car was repossesed 2.5 weeks ago. I was one payment behind, plus I switched insurance companies. When I switched the company I terminated with informed my lienholder of the the termination, but the new company didn't inform them of my coverage. My lienholder automaticaly raised my payments. They had an incorrect address. I was never informed of the increase.

I sent my proof of insurance and money to them via Western Union over 1 week ago. They claim they are still waiting for their insurance dept to give them a dollar amount, so they can release my car. They will not return my phone calls and they will not give me any answers even though they accepted my money last Tuesday. What rights do I have? How can I get my car back? I am paying daily impound fees, plus repossesion & collection charges.
