Caught using ex-company's fed ex account
Ok this is really stupid of me, but I used the fed ex account of my ex-employer's and they found out about it. I really just wanted to use it for the discount and not to charge the company, but that didn't happen. Anyway, they found out and they filed it to the fraud dept. I have confessed to it. I had to, one of the packages was returned to my old office. I told them that I want to pay for the package that I sent. Do you think I'm in any trouble? Am I freaking out for nothing?

Perhaps if you tell them it was an honest mistake and that you thought that Fedex was going to bill you, it won't matter. If they truly believe it was fraud, they can file a police report. From there, the police might investigate, but I doubt it. And if they do, only the District Attorney can file charges, and those would (in my opinion) be tough to make stick here. I think you are probably worrying for nothing. Offer to make restitution and that's it.
Good luck.

Obviously, you realize that you did something that you shouldn't have done. They won't fire you, so that's a good thing. Since I suppose the cost was small, perhaps they won't pursue it. It's hard to say from this distance.
