Legal Question in Business Law in California
We changed our independent contractors agreement, he has agreed to the pay change but refuses to return the contract. He acknowledges he has it excepted the checks for payment but will not produce the contract. What would be the purpose?

He will probably dispute there is an agreement to modify the contract.
