Changing the name on a judgment

1st part:We filed and were awarded a jdgmnt against a company as a CORP. They actually are listed at a LTD. It is the same company. How do we go about changing the name.

2nd part: If we are able to change the name how do we go about obtaining a sister state jdgmnt in Nevada. Our jdgmnt is in Calif.

Re: Changing the name on a judgment

Do a motion to amend the judgment to conform to proof, and provide the court with authentication from the secretary of state of the true name of the company. Then, you get a certified copy of the CA judgment, bring it to the appropriate court in NV, open a special case for enforcing the judgment, and find a lawyer when you need help.
