charging a transaction fee
Can I charge my customers a fee for using a credit card or electronically converting their checks? What are the guidelines, rules or restrictions when charging a transaction fee? Your response is appreciated, thank you.

You need to refer to the rules of the particular card issuer. Generally, you can't.
