Legal Question in Business Law in California
Do I have a claim if a hair salon ruined my hair? It falls out and is no longer brushable. Owner admits to mistake but I live with this everyday.

It sounds like a viable claim, in that, based on the given facts, you're pretty likely to be awarded some monetary judgment. However, whether the damages you may be awarded would rise to a level making suit worth while depends upon factors beyond what's revealed in your question. These would include whether you are a highly-paid fashion model or an average person, what a medical expert would testify is your likely time to recover and have normal hair again, and so forth. Not every viable lawsuit results in a gusher of money, and going through a trial is a real nuisance.
