Legal Question in Business Law in California
Cleaning Blood
Dear sir/mam
I had a customer who had a dental problem, her mouth was bleeding and we had some blood on my store floor, I heard that it is illegal to clean blood of a perosn and I am not allowed to mop the blood off the floor and she has to do it, I was wondering if this is true or not? thanks for your help.
Sincerely

Re: Cleaning Blood
I did a quick computer search of California statutes for the key words in your question and found no such prohibition. My guess is that whomever told you this had in mind the laws against tampering with crime scene evidence. This is not a crime scene and I see no reason why you should be legally restrained from cleaning up, just as after any similar spill.
