Legal Question in Business Law in California

confidentiality agreement

I have a business idea I wish to take to the market. The idea is simple, more an idea about a particular segment of the market than a genuinely new type of doing business in the area concerned (selling advertising space). But I need a legally binding (as far as that's possible) confidentiality agreement to protect the process towards deal-making, and I can't afford to have one drafted for me; -is there anywhere I can find an example of what needs to be included in such an agreement? I'm good at researching libraries and the net, and any hint to where I can look would help me immensely.

Thanks!

Re: confidentiality agreement

I apologize for the delay in replying to your

question but it was just recently posted to my

email address. I do not know of any websites that

could help you. I do not know how much money you

have and are willing to spend on a good confidentiality

agreement, but I could do it for you at a very reasonable

rate depending on how detailed an agreement you want.

I specialize in business and contract law also and

it sounds like you may need a lawyer to represent you

later down the road should your idea find a market.

If you would like a free consultation please feel

free to contact my office at 805-546-9909 or email

me at [email protected] with your phone number and a

good time to reach you and I would be happy to speak

to you about a confidentiality agreement and any other

business contractual issues you may have.

Talk to you soon.
