confidentially agreement
is a c.a. a legal document if signed by myself and the legal dept of the company I am selling an idea to? How else can I protect my idea?

yes. a non-circumvent provision would add additional protection.
Make sure it is between you and the company (CEO) or other official that can bind the company.
