Legal Question in Business Law in California
Consulting for your own company
Can a person who has a personal consulting business- say a as a patent agent- as a side job, who works full time for a company, be hired as a consultant for the company he/she works for? And have the company pay him without taking out taxes? (The person will pay the income tax on his own)
