How do i convert a general partnership to an LLC in California? Also, my name has legally changed. How do I go about changing my business documentation?

Spend a little money on a lawyer to do this right. If you have a general partnership that is up and operating, you need some good legal and tax advice on making this conversion.

I agree. The changes are implemented by the filing of an LLC 1A, but you need to understanding exactly what you are doing on both a business and tax level. You will also need an LLC Operating Agreement. There are a number of questions which need to be addressed by capable planning and tax counsel.
