Legal Question in Business Law in California
Corporate Gifts
Have a small placement company. We want to run a promotion to give a $100 dollar shopping spree to new customers. This means that only a certain individual (HR or some other hiring manager) within the company would receive this gift. Is this form of marketing legal? I understand that most companies have specific rules governing the max gift value that employees can receive from external vendors.

Re: Corporate Gifts
I think $100 is too much and most companies would consider this akin to bribery. Not sure about the legality, but probably not the most high-tone way to promote your business.
