Credit Card and Death
My sister in law was married for 4 year to a man who died. He had a credit card in his name only who has to pay it off. Or can they write it off.

Re: Credit Card and Death
A deceased person's liabilities become liabilities of his or her estate, and the heirs (usually through the executor or administrator) must pay all the bills before the first penny, or the first stick of furniture, article of clothing, piece of jewelery or whatever can be distributed to an heir.
