Legal Question in Business Law in California
Can a customer of the ecommerce site Shopify, injured or unhappy with a product, sue the site owner and Shopify. The Terms of Service with Shopify indicate that they shall not be liable to 3rd party suits? Additionally, what type of insurance should someone seeking to join Shopify, Bigcommerce, etc. seek to insure protection from unforseen product issues?
