Legal Question in Business Law in California
I have a DBA home Expressions, on my sign it says Home Expressions under the company name i placed the phrase "kitchen & Bath Gallery" coincidentally i have a competitor in the neighborhood with the name "Kitchen & bath gallery" will I have to remove the phrase from my sign.

Not likely, as long as it is a generic descriptor and not a trade name. Of course if you don't actually have a kitchen and bath gallery store, you probably will have to remove it.
