Legal Question in Business Law in California
If a dealership sold me an all-wheel-drive car 9 months ago and I just found out that my car is front-wheel-drive and all I have to prove is pictures from the dealership what is my next step?

Well, your choices seem to break down into complaining to the dealership or filing a lawsuit. If you need 4WD, you might ask them to do a swap on very favorable terms, perhaps backed by a threat of suit. However, I doubt that actually taking legal action would be economic, as proving significant monetary damages would probably not be possible. Also, there may be a real question as to whether the failure to get the kind of vehicle you wanted was due to dealer fraud or your own failure to observe the (informal) rule of "caveat emptor." In any event, you'd need to start out with one or more "free initial conferences" with local attorney(s) who can get full facts from you regarding your damages and quality and sufficiency of proof that you were wronged by the dealer.
