Legal Question in Business Law in California
A default and default judgement against the Defendant were overturned by the judge.
Now the Defendant's attorney has missed the time frame for answering the complaint which was supposed to be 20 days after the defaults were overturned.
I know that the courts prefer to judge the case on its merits but is there anything I can do to the Defendant for not turning in the answers to the complaint in time.
Do I file for another default?
