Legal Question in Business Law in California
My former Doctor is billing me for a cancellation fee of $25 dollars. But I never cancelled my appointment so I refused to pay. Now he has called a collector. What are my legal options

Dispute the bill. If you didn't cancel or fail to show up then why is he charging you $25.00? If he has no basis tell the collector you don't owe it and to stop calling you. If they call you again that is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Acts both our state's and the federal one.
Guess that is why he is your former doctor eh?
