Legal Question in Business Law in California
employee stock options
Started a basic C Corp in NV. As a bootstrap startup, running low on funds. Some programmers and a new biz dev said they would take stock options, instead of cash. Is there a basic form I can use to get this done reasonable right, and at min cost?

Re: employee stock options
No - this is a relatively complex transaction - a simpler transaction by the way would be the transfer of stock (not options) to the employees immediately. Either one, though, needs the assistance of a business attorney and there is no "form" for these things - if there was, no one would go to law school for 3 years or need an attorney. You pay for legal advice, experience, know-how, and custom drafted documents, not for "forms". My advice in general is to do it right or don't do it at all.
