Excepting partial payment without implying payment in full
How do I draft a letter so that when i cash a check for payment of services rendered that is less than the agreed amount without implying that I have excepted the short amount as payment in full.

When you endorse the check just put any or all of the following terms above your signature:
Without prejudice
All rights reserved
Accepted as partial payment
