Legal Question in Business Law in California
I need an experienced business attorney to review a 4 page business contract I wrote. The contract is complete & I just need it to be reviewed for proper verbiage etc.
I'm a small start-up so my budget is limited. Thank you

It can't hurt to ask, but keep in mind you are asking professionals to sell themselves short. In order to write or review an important business contract, there must be an attorney/client consultation so the attorney understands the aims of the contract and can explain the benefits and risks of available phrasing. One of the most important attorney functions is pointing out unanticipated implications. Another is covering unanticipated consequences if things do not work out well with the deal. If you think it is too expensive to have it done right, think again. The cost involved in an unexpected lawsuit if things go wrong will be many times the investment you should make now.
