Legal Question in Business Law in California
Our family own business was handed down to my uncle and father, from their father. So as soon as my grandfather takes his name off the business, my uncle puts his name and his wife's name(Shes the secretary)on the business. Isnt my father entitled to atleast half that everything in the business is worth? I mean it was supposed to be a brother - brother partnership.

Unfortunately your question is confusing based on standard business associations. You talk about taking names off the business, you have a secretary involved, and then talk about a partnership. If it is a corp it is handled one way.... Secretary implies corporation but that means stock.... Without further information I dont think you will get a clear answer
You need to speak directly with a lawyer about this situation. The analysis turns on a number of facts that can best be developed in an interview. There are just too many variables here, including what your grandfather's will said, what you mean by putting your uncle's name "on the business," whether there's a corporate entity involved, and many other things.
Since it is your Dad you're obviously concerned but this is not your problem. Your Dad ought to speak with a lawyer if there is some issue with your grandfather's estate. If your grandfather is still alive then its up to him.
