Legal Question in Business Law in California
Our family was a franchisee for over 55 years, and settled a lawsuit in late 2015.
The family business is now independent, but the Franchisor wants all former web site ads removed. ..question!
How can I remove hundreds of web sites, when most of them I had nothing to do with.
Is that legal under bit law?

I would recommend working closely with the franchisor to develop a process that is both satisfactory to them and technically feasible for you. Some compromise may be necessary, but this is the kind of issue that should be settled out of court and by both parties working together to develop practical real-world solutions that protect the franchisor's legitimate interests while recognizing the realities of the Internet.
