Legal Question in Business Law in California
My father and i purchased a new truck for me with the title reading "or" and both of our names were listed. i was the one making all the payments and upkeep on the vehicle. my father then took the truck from my possesion with no consent and traded it in for another vehicle for himself. this all happened without my knowledge, authorization, signature, or consent. i had paid over $8,000.00 towards the truck and was never reimbursed what so ever. would it be possible to sue for the money i had paid towards the vehicle?

You can sue him. First, I would susgest a letter to him advising what you think may be fair, and for him to reply within 7-10 days, or you will suit against him.
