The court in Alhambra is a branch of the Superior Court of California, in and for the County of Los Angeles. If you are a novice at preparing and filing legal matters such as complaints, you might want to start with the L.A. Superior Court's own Web site at www.lasuperiorcourt.org

The web site is rather complex and contains tons of information, so review it carefully and with patience. Also, be sure that the Alhambra courthouse is the appropriate one.

Finally, note that a complete filing will include a Complaint, a Civil Case Cover Sheet, a partially completed Summons (the clerk will complete the Summons upon your filing the case), and some locally-required forms ...... you'll also need to pay a significant filing fee, usually $435 for a standard civil complaint in most courthouses.
