I formed an LLC under my name, how would i change it to my wife name? it's 1 member llc. i would like my wife on the LLC , not me.

The major step is obtaining and completing the proper LLC form from the Secretary of State's Web site, www.ss.ca.gov. There are probably other actions you should take, including review of any forms you filed after setting up the LLC in which you specified yourself as the Member in charge. These could include bank signature cards, leases for the business premises, applications for taxpayer identifying numbers, credit applications, etc. etc. In other words, you need to do a pretty thorough review of all of the LLC's external relationships and make sure any applications, contracts, listings, etc. have her name as the person in charge, not yours.
