Legal Question in Business Law in California

Can I get full refund for an unsatisfactory custom order?

I custom ordered a number of wood blinds from a small company. I found out that the blinds delivered to me were not wood. I called and asked them to send someone over to verify the material of the blinds, but they claimed that I was wrong, and refused to verify. I have tried to contact them many times, but they were not willing to resolve my problem. I then asked them to pickup the blinds and return my money, but they ignored me. Can I sue them for the full cash refund, plus the Court fees? Thanks.

yes, if you can show proof that the company stated the blinds were wood when in fact they weren't. If you have any questions about filing a claim please feel free to contact my office at 888-563-8529

you can if you can convince the court that there was a material breach of the contract. would say that if you ordered wood blinds and they are not wood that would be a material breach in my opinion.
