Legal Question in Business Law in California
Hello.
The question is:
Can i fundraise for nonprofits and take a fee from donated money
as a business revenue?
For example, 10% fee would be deducted and 90% would
be sent to charity.
Is it legal?
Regards

It can be, if done correctly and carefully. Many of these companies that say "donate your car to charity," for example, are for-profit companies that take their cut and pass the rest on to charities. You would want to have an attorney help you put together your business and make your arrangements with the charity(s) in order to make sure you avoid any legal problems.
