Legal Question in Business Law in California
hi,
I have a legal question for you.
My friend is buliding a website and for users to gain access to the website, they will have to click "yes" when a popup window appears and it will install software on their computer - that displays relevant ads when they surf the net.
Is that legal so far? Having software installed on their computer from them clicking YES, in order to use the site?
ALso, this software is flagged by anti virus softwares out there, but its NOT a virus
any problems there with legalities?
