Legal Question in Business Law in California

Hi,

I have a single member LLC and I have made an new business agreement with 2 partners under my name as an individual and not as a LLC.

My question is the following:

Would the agreement that I made as individual have anything to do with my LLC? In other words, I would like to make sure that when I do business under my LLC that the individual agreement has nothing to do with it and viceversa.

Thanks for your advise.

It could. You really haven't provided enough information. What type of business arrangement? Are the businesses related? What is your specific concern? You call the individuals the 2 "partners" - have you entered into a partnership with them? Is there a written agreement? Is that partnership competitive with your LLC?

Probably not unless there were some mention of an association between the LLC and the partners. You probably need to discuss the details with an attorney to make sure everything is proper.
