Hi, I need to hire someone to make a special appearance for a case management conference in Santa Clara County California. Are there services that do this? How would I go about looking one up?

First suggestion: go on Google and do a search for "appearance attorney" "Santa Clara". I tried this and got some potentially useful results.

Second suggestion: Look up Robert L. Ray & Associates. He is based in Colton, Calif. between Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, but he's been assembling a network of appearance attorneys state-wide for many years.

I haven't used an appearance attorney myself in four or five years, largely because of CourtCall, but if Mr. Ray is still in business I'm pretty sure he'd have several appearance attorneys on his roster for Santa Clara County Superior Court.
