Legal Question in Business Law in California
I hold a low manager position at my parents' company; my father is the CEO. The president of the company, of whom I report directly to, has been fabricating stories and lies about me and my work performance to the CEO. As my direct supervisor, he has never brought any of these allegations directly to me, as they are falsehoods, but brings these lies to my father (the CEO) to further his own career. I want to hold him accountable as a manager to superior for his lies and misconduct. What options do I have?

Tell your Dad, the CEO of the company you work for, that you would like a metting with him, yourself, and your boss. If the meeting takes place, objectively outline your concerns.
