Legal Question in Business Law in California
A hotel guest staying at our hotel burned Comforter and Blanket on 3rd night of their stay. We charged guest credit card $200.00. He became very upset and said law suit is coming. What is governing law in California for such issues? Thank you.

Lots of hotels charge guests $200 just for smoking, let alone burning the bedding. Stand firm, and thank you.
