Legal Question in Business Law in California
If an independent contractor makes a delivery of a part, from a parts yard, and the vendor writes a check to the General, check bounces. Can the independents commission be with held to cover bounce? Thanks. Ramona

I don't understand the question. Why would a VENDOR be writing a check to anyone? "Vendor" means the seller. Please re-ask the question, identifying the capacity of the parties more clearly (without naming them).
