Legal Question in Business Law in California

Injunctive Relief from Finance Company

My finance company for my Jeep has overcharged me using

the ''Rule of 78'' and then compounding interest on top of this, and I need time to research their billing. I'm almost finished (this is my last payment)How do i seek injunctive relief for time to research this without them starting repossession? the amount is question is about 600.00

Thank you in advance! I would like to file the forms and start this action myself; I don't mind taking intiative if someone can give me the correct format to do so.

Re: Injunctive Relief from Finance Company

Getting a restraining order or injunction in a family law or civil harassment situation is so easy for someone appearing in pro. per. that it may seem as though any injunction (or temporary restraining order) must be equally simple.

In truth, obtaining even a TRO for the purpose you propose would be a daunting task for an experienced attorney, and I see no chance that a non-attorney could succeed......well, almost no chance. Among other things, you would have to post a bond, and if you have never done an injunction bond before, that application process alone would take you hours. Pleading the necessary facts and understanding the legal arguments you must make present formidable obstacles.

It isn't worth it, in my opinion.
