Legal Question in Business Law in California
An interior designer in San Diego who is not certified asked me for a $5,000 retainer. I paid the retainer and expected the contractual agreement which I never received.
I then called to ask for my money back and was told that not only did he no longer have my money but that he would pay it back within 90 days deducting time spent on the project which was no time at all
