Legal Question in Business Law in California

I became involved with a real estate group that cost me $5000. To partner up with . the woman at the head of the project was to organize set up a LLC. ( which she Did) and we were to buy properties in the Cleveland OH area . she need 10 others to complete the group 3 years ago. When things wer'nt progressing as I had planned I asked for a refund of my cash . which undeer the contract I was promised would happen if not happy .... I was told on

Numerous occasions I had to be replaced for that refund

To be paid me!!! It's been 3 years waiting to be replaced no properties have been purchased and I have others waiting with me .

What should be my course of action be?

You should write a formal demand letter, and then sue in the appropriate court. You should also act quickly, as you may have statute of limitations problems if you delay.
