Legal Question in Business Law in California
My job recently switched me from exempt to non exempt because of the wage change. I found out that they were not paying me the legal minimum salary for an exempt employee for the last two years. Do I have a right to get reimbursed?

Yes. You would have a wage claim for unpaid overtime. You can hire an attorney to help you, or you can make a claim with the Employment Development Department. edd.ca.gov

Yes, but don't delay. Generally, the law allows you to go back no more than 3 years. Contact the California Labor Commissioner to make a claim. They have a process to collect back wages for you.
