Legal Question in Business Law in California
Legal Binding Contract
I am thinking of asking my current employer for a $10,000.00 bonus based upon my involvement in the selling of his corporation. He has agreed to personally guarantee this bonus. What should be included in the contract to make it legally binding and or to make it stand up in court?

Re: Legal Binding Contract
there is nothing particular it needs or doesnt need, you just write it out in plain language and it will most likely be legally binding. there are all sorts of things you CAN put in it to give you more protection. with $10k involved i would recommend going to a lawyer and telling him to write a plain language contract that doesnt look like a lawyer wrote it. it shouldnt cost more than $100 max
