Legal Question in Business Law in California
I have an LLC and a lawyer placed a lien on one of our properties for collection of one of the members personal debts, that has nothing to do with the LLC is this legal? I believe it is not because the debt was a personal one, not in any way related to the LLC

Generally speaking, no, it is not legal. However, the facts and circumstances will have to be further examined to give you a definitive answer. You can also have a lien removed through judicial procedure.
