lost phone
my phone feel under the resturant table and it was not found. the resturants policy is to turn in all lost items. what can i do?

I agree with Mr. Cohen. If you are asking whether you have a cause of action against the restaurant the answer is almost certainly no; businesses are not responsible for property their patrons accidentally lose while on the premises.

Try calling the restaurant back in a week - maybe it will be turned in by then. Try calling your cell phone and see if anyone answers.
Otherwise, there is nothing you can do, legally, other than buy a new phone - the restaurant's policy is sound and you have no evidence of wrongdoing on the part of the restaurant or its employees.

Make a claim on your phone insurance, if any, or get a new phone. Probably, one of the restaurant's patrons didn't turn it in.
Try calling your old cell number and see who answers.
