Legal Question in Business Law in California
I make homemade baby carriers. Can I (a) sell them under an LLC to protect myself from liability from possible injury ( since I am having a hard time finding insurace for this type of product) & (b) will I be released from any possible future lawsuit if I legally close the LLC if it become unprofitable?

Setting up a separate business entity (like an LLC or corporation) is a good idea when running a business. To protect yourself from personal liability you also must make sure you run/manage the entity as a separate entity.
It's probably easier to discuss the risks as well as pros and cons of setting up an entity over the phone or in person. Please feel free to contact me directly to discuss.
