Legal Question in Business Law in California
merchant account cancellation
This will serve as a precautionary measure. I have been unsatisfied with my merchant account service and sure enough, now they decided to add annual fee and increased rate. They give me no choice but to cancel my account. Is there anything I should know about/aware off before proceeding? I have a feeling this is not going to be a straight forward process. Thank you.

Re: merchant account cancellation
You should review your contract with the service provider to determine what penalties you might face if you cancel and how you can minimize or avoid them. If you aren't sure how to interpret the contract, you should probably go over it with a lawyer.
